As Editor-in-Chief of Abstract Archive, I wanted to incorporate interactive elements into the upcoming print edition of the magazine. I created a crossword puzzle for the magazine using photographs I took, Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
During the summer of 2025, I studied Renaissance art history through the Syracuse Abroad program in Florence, Italy — a course that brought me to a different museum, church, or palazzo every day. For my final project, I drew on my magazine major to create a short publication exploring Renaissance altarpieces featuring Madonna and Child iconography. The magazine brings together the art historical research I conducted on site in Florence with the editorial and design skills from my major, bridging two areas of study I'm passionate about.
